Suzanne Brøgger

Suzanne Brøgger grew up in Sri Lanka and Thailand and studied Russian at the University of Copenhagen. She worked as an actress, journalist, and war correspondent before writing her first novel in 1973. Brøgger’s work often explores the nature of love, family, and relationships. In addition to plays, her work includes collections of essays, poetry, short stories and novels - most notably CREME FRAICHE (1978), TONE (1981), and YES (1984). Her work has been translated into thirteen languages.
