The musical Änglagård is based on the film of the same name, and just like in the film, the musical starts with the announcement of a death, which causes the main character Fanny to start her search for her roots. Together with her faithful, extravagant companion Zac, she leaves the nightclub life in Berlin to find her way home to the small village of Yxared, located deep in the Swedish forests. Their grand entrance into the small community becomes a culture clash that stirs emotions among the villagers and old secrets surfaces. But there will also be meetings and love that create new, lifelong bonds.
