A modern re-telling of the myth of the clairvoyant virgin-saint Joan of Arc. Dark is an androgynous rockstar who begins to hear voices, and to experience inexplicable occult phenomena. As she gives her life over to these voices and heads toward martyrdom, her fans desert her, causing her once-successful career to nosedive. She becomes a totally different person, a heroine whose body no longer belongs to herself, but to a greater cosmic program to save the world. Through the play, Brøgger asks: Do we want to resign - give up, or will we just keep on producing more waste? The play is translated into English.
