Vladimir and Oleg Presnyakov were born in Sverdlovsk in Siberia. Together they founded the Gorky Urals State University’s youth theatre, where they produced new and experimental theatre. It was in connection with the Royal Court’s New Writing Project that the brothers became known in Europe with their play WE SHALL OVERCOME.
