Theatres all over Europe are throwing themselves at the Siberian Presnyakov-brother’s black comedy Terrorism, which is in the lead of a wave of exciting Russian dramatics. Six grotesque scenarios constitute thus through provoking text about terrorism between people – in a Russian town - where everyone is terrorists and everyone is victims of terrorism in every possible way: there is a bomb treat in the airport and a suicide in the office. A lover ties up the unfaithful woman whilst an old woman is contemplating murder. After a violent gas explosion the rescue team is busy photographing severed limbs- for the fun of it. The play was originally presented at Moskva Kunstner Teater November 2002 and later at The Royal Court Theatre 2003.
