Harald Leander was born in 1962 in Sweden and studied drama, theatre and film at the University of Lund in 1982-83 after which he trained as an actor at the School of Theatre in Malmö in 1990-93. Subsequently he has worked as musician, actor and director at several prominent theatres in Sweden as well as featuring in a line of film and TV productions. From 1996 to 2003 he was teaching dramaturgy at his former school in Malmö. In addition, he has worked as artistic director for both actors and directors at Teater 23 in Malmö since 1998. Leander has translated and adapted several Swedish, German, French and Danish literary works into stage play, among which one finds ONE LIKE HODDER by the Danish author, Bjarne Reuer.
