For a long time, Reza wanted to write a play about actors. Her own experiences as an actress are included in this text, a text using the principle of the Russian Matroshka dolls: a play within the play within the play. The actors rehearse for ‘a Spanish play’, in which the female protagonists are actresses; two of these rehearse for ‘a Bulgarian play’. The actors in ‘the Spanish play’ repeatedly exit their roles to give imaginary interviews, explain their roles and reflect on theatre.
