Stalingrad 1943. The Germans have been surrounded, defeat awaits them. An officer has disappeared with his orderly, and three soldiers have been sent out to search for them in the ruins. They find him, but they find more than him. This story is being told based on quotes from authentic letters from the imprisoned soldiers to their dear ones.
