This is a both grim and refined love story, which is told in three monologues. These monologues do not follow in chronological order; however they reflect one another and uncover selected courses of a run-down relationship between mother and son. Love may take many forms. The one presented by Asmussen has been worn out through a lifetime of presence. Hatred, sexual degradation, loneliness, dependence are some of the flowers which have been planted over the years.
