An intelligent and multicultural farce about the time after September 11 th, and about how a global problem suddenly becomes your problem. The play takes place in a staircase in a block of flats in some suburb. This is where the dazed Nigel lives, who parties in his own stoned world of heroin, canned food and computer games. When his door is kicked in by an unbalanced agent from the intelligence service, his world suddenly changes. Nigel is forced to work for the authorities as an informant in the struggle to reveal a presumable terrorist nest in the local mosque- possible because Nigel is a Muslim himself. His life does not get less complicated by the mistrustful and poker playing widower Mac, who with a cane and weapon attempts to keep the staircase and its residents under control.
