The Norwegian Pakistani, Farooq, is thinking about the situation of the world, when he suddenly realizes that he is a part of it. Farooq is an ordinary man, a family father with a job, a car and a house, but lately he has been haunted by existential problems, which none of his friends or family are able to answer. He finds comfort in reading the works of the Pakistani writer, Saadat Hassan Manto, but after a while, reading is not enough anymore. Farooq decides to set out on a journey and seek out Manto’s grave in Pakistan, hoping that the dead writer will give him peace of mind.
