This is a classic drama about love and dreams, but also a beautiful and universal story with which we can all relate. In the play, MØD MIG PÅ CASSIOPEIA, Polyhymnia, the muse of music, climbs down from mount Olympos to inspire an operetta composer who is unable to complete the music for a premiering operetta because of marital problems and his own escalating lunacy. The cupids are in the air the opening draws closer and it could seem as if Kai Normann Andersen has also been inspired by Polyhymnia as he has created a string of cheerful, catchy melodies, all made popular in Denmark by the Danish movie of 1953.
