The place is India and the time is the nineteen twenties. A Man’s A Man is a frighteningly hilarious look at the fragile nature of identity, and how the mildest of men can be changed into ferocious killing machines with the help of a little alcohol and a little convincing conversation. Brecht’s anti-war tale has little to do with actual war, but instead focus on the development of the characters within the play, either by personal choices or through brainwashing.
