Driving teacher, Ove, is married to Lis. They read their crime novels simultaneously before going to sleep. Kamille is pregnant and looking for someone who can be a surrogate father of her unborn child, Gysse. Ove has an older student, the former sailor Kaj, who has not seen his son, Søren, for about 20 years and now puts hobby-detective Lis on the case. Søren is on an awkward speed date with Kamille, who also is one of Ove’s students. The roads are crossing and relationships are challenged in this fine little comedy about the great in the small.
The work has been performed with great success at Odense Theatre at the beginning of the year, followed by Denmark Tour. The play is a Reumert Award nominee for best playwright 2017.
