Here they are! The remains of the 60’s high-tempered onslaught on the nuclear family: Torben, his present and past wife and two children, one from each marriage. They meet in the flat which the three adults have bought for their confused offspring: The son and the daughter. The two live there, and their parents use the flat as a place of refuge and a resort. It was meant to be a place where the grown-ups could escape from each other. Instead it has turned into a theatre of war, a scene on which they act out all confrontations to the young people’s annoyance. The lines are part of a witty circle in which enthralling entertainment is followed by nerve-jangling seriousness.
