In this play, five individuals are gathered in the entrance hall of the “Hotel the Two Worlds”. The five persons are of various sexes, ages, origins and lives. All five individuals have one thing in common – their unconscious bodies are in a coma somewhere at some intensive care unit at some hospital while they wait for the response of fate in this hotel, the middle world. Will they get back to life, or will they have to leave the earthly world and take the elevator to somewhere else, wherever that might be? This is the central question of the play; a question they must all ask themselves: “How did I get here? Will I be granted the opportunity to leave this place? Where will I end up?”. The enigmatic Doctor S cares for the guests during their stay, but this silence only strengthen their fear. This is a metaphysical suspense drama, floating between dream and reality; life and death; comedy and tragedy.
