A right-wing politician has been beaten up by a group of immigrants and is now in a coma. An election is coming up and so the Government fears that right-wing forces will take advantage of the situation.
Hilhorst’s play is a very intelligent and catching drama about the balance of power, political violence and racism. It had its grand opening in Holland few days before the right-wing politician, Pim Fortuyn was murdered, which caused the play to be taken off the programme, as it was suddenly too close to reality.
