A Love Story – Samuel August from Sevedstorp & Hanna in Hult” is Astrid Lindgren’s personal tribute to her parents and their love. It began in 1888 when Samuel August was 13 and Hanna was 9. They then came to love each other throughout their lives. This is a story that provides understanding of the time, the environment, and the people from which Astrid Lindgren’s life’s work emerged. It was named the love story of the millennium by listeners of Sweden’s Radio in 1999.
