(D)Orte is so self-obsessed that she reports herself for lack of empathy and wants to be put in solitary confinement so she cannot hurt other people; Hanne is on sick leave and has a hard time dealing with the big questions of life, but as she cannot come up with any answers, she acquires a human dog, which she later chooses to use as a carpet while her language slowly dissolves; her husband, Thomas, is asked by his company to donate organs and limbs to colleagues to show team spirit; and Egon’s wife (D(O)rte) has left him and now he tries to avoid his loneliness and grief by partying hard, but without having any (living) friends to party with.
AFTER TIME is an absurd comedy about people in a post-modern world. A critically acclaimed black satire about the futility of our time.
