This play concerns the lives of people living in the big cities, seeking grounding and a form of identity. We meet Henry who has several casual acquaintances though no true and close friends. Also, there is Anne, an actress, who changes between using Henry and simply ignoring him. And lastly there is Trevor, a farmer boy, who hungrily welcomes sexual offers while writing endless poems that no one dares to criticise.
