The play opens with a somewhat unsuccessful arrest of two prostitutes in a small American town and ends with a police officer risking not only his job, but also his best friend and his own wedding, for a case that turns out not to be what he expected. A hilarious play about class discrimination, sham politics and the search for the American dream. It was a great success at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago in 2001.
