We go through life day after day, and it is too easy to lose interest in it. “For a long time, I lived without realising that I was alive”, claims the character of this monologue as he conveys his life story to an imaginary listener. The play is about a man with an incurable disease – a disease with a stigma attached to it; love and the consequences of love. Suddenly life becomes precious when he acknowledges that it is going to end. Faced with lack of understanding from his family and friends, he seeks refuge in the forests.
