The play begins in front of a zoological garden. In a twisted language, Specht gives a (sur)real portrait of a society of fortune hunters who verbally sniff at each other in front of the cages to others who runs a vicious play of pecking ordering. In the play’s second part all of the characters are gathered through the keeper at the zoo, Max. The park suffers from a declining number of visitors and the rhino house has been rented out for parties. Max decides to restore the animals' dignity and takes a radical decision...
