The play is a musical portraying an average day in the life of Charlie Brown. While eating his packed lunch in the schoolyard he dreams about the little ginger haired girl Lucy. Linus is utterly fanatic about his sop while Charlie Brown’s dog Snoopy spends its time imagining being somebody else, like a gorilla or a pilot from World War 1.
None of the actors are six-years old but the story creates an encounter between childhood and the wisdom and disillusions of adulthood.
