This epic piece covers four generations and two continents. The play takes place in a claustrophobic flat in London during the 1950ies as well as the windy shores of Southern Australia and the heart of a futuristic Australian desert in the year 2039. In WHEN THE RAIN STOPS FALLING, a series of connected stories are intertwined, telling stories about seven individuals’ confrontation with their mysterious past, and their attempts to understand the future. A young man becomes courageous enough to defy his heritage.
