A play inspired by the authentic events regaring the so-called “U-Bahn thugs from Munich”. It’s about the three teenagers – Sedat, Aaron and Nurit – who live in a world filled with themes and conflicts they cannot identify with and which overwhelm them. Everyday situations are getting more and more on their nerves. The youth is inevitably let down.

The play is about the problems of the youngsters who must manoeuver between first and second generations of immigrants, homeland and inner homes – and find their own viewpoints in a whirlwind of cultures and religions.

In 2009, Marianna Salzmann was awarded the Austrian Prize for Female Exile Playwrights for WEISSBROTMUSIK.
