A woman lives in the mountains with her debilitated husband. She is very keen to have a baby but all she gets is silk. Her husband earns his money by smuggling, which is soon noticed by a frontier guard, who shortly gets to seduce the woman. She, however, quickly realizes that she is being used by both men in their individual pursuit of getting what they want. Before long though, she comes up with a very sneaky plan to play the two off against each other…
