Dolores is a clear-sighted scientist specializing in pain. She has her own theory about pain and about the human ability to control pain with willpower. She enters the cellar to get her mourning. Her sister Felicia has passed away, but Dolores desires to keep away the memory about the dead sister and stays in the cellar with the mourning clothes. Slowly she drifts into her own oppressed sorrow and pain. This play is a descent tale about today’s woman, based on the Sumerian myth about the Goddess Inanna. Premiered at Teater Plaza, Stockholm 1992.
