VATER UNSER is the first play of the Austrian award winning film director, Ulrich Seidl. It premiered at the Volksbühne in Berlin and deals with questions of faith and how a bunch of souls attempt to build a personal relationship with God. The story takes place in the prayer room and in the toilet at an airport and follows a group of subtle and helpless characters: A catholic cleaning lady; her boss who checks up on her work; a serious businessman; a love hungry stewardess; a paedophile taxi driver; a princess and an experienced, stoic priest.
