One day, three old men, Dietrich, Lothar and Oliver, receives a letter saying that they will soon die. They are upset because they are not yet finished with life. They still have to ride on camels through the desert, climb the highest mountains, eat more breakfast, quarrel, experience love, clean up ... They simply need to still be alive. But then it gets dark and they get tired. Now they have had enough of life and can truly well lie down and die. Suzanne van Lohuizen’s new children's piece is an entertaining little lesson in life and death.
