This is a boulevard comedy that takes the mick of its own genre as well as with the snobbery within avant-garde theatre, done in such a clever way that it is hard to place the real scapegoat. The main character is a successful comedy actor who up until now has written his own light comedies and who now wishes to embark on a deeper authorship.
