The year is 1975. Elisabeth is tired of her husband, so she packs her bags and takes her children to her brother Göran. Elisabeth is a normal housewife from the suburb, but Göran is a bit different. He lives in the Marxist commune “Tilsammans” and this is where Elisabeth arrives with her children – to a chaotic house inhabited by longhaired people who discuss politics, have casual sex, grow vegetables and drink a lot of red wine. The clash between these two worlds set off a drama which will change their lives.
