A riddling play about three women who might be sisters, and a beautiful young man who might be a son. Ella has spent her entire life raising her ‘son’, who is now a piano tuner. She has written a piano concert which she would like to have performed, and has allied herself with the pianist Liz, as well as she has invited the wealthy Bert to her house, hoping that she will finance the project. We suddenly realise that the three women have a mutual past – but not the same memories of it.
