4 F / 4 M Comedy in three acts 1 Set (with several individual sets) Robert Danvers is a 40 year old famous journalist and TV celebrity, who writes cookery books. Still a bachelor, he is renowned for his enthusiastic entertaining of women, who he treats like a glass of wine; first he tastes them and then spit them out after a little while. Then one day, he is introduced to the 19 year old Marion, a free spirited modern girl, who is very self-conscious both in mind and in action. So with her sarcastic and rude comments she flabbergasts the celebrity and his vanity. However, even she falls for his courting, though like in most comedies this one as well has morale so in the end she returns to the young musician that she left in the beginning, as she finally realises Robert’s true intentions.
