Despite completely different social backgrounds, Carla and Heather were good friends at school. As a teenager the neglected Carla was jealous of Heather’s privileged life and with a girl gang they made Heather a target for brutal bullying. A couple of decades later: Heather is married, wealthy, but childless. After several years without contact she has found her old friend/enemy on Facebook and invites her to a café in order to give her an offer and a suitcase full of money. Carla, who is on the lowest step of the social ladder, frustrated, heavily smoking and pregnant with her fifth child, at first, believes that Heather wants to use her as a surrogate mother, but Heather’s wish, however, is of quite a different character and soon they start planning the perfect crime … until the cards are shuffled in the end. This is a mean comedy of how childhood memories can shape lives and poison them.
