Bea has left her husband in Melbourne and has returned to her friends in England. When she makes it known that it is her wish for the two young children to remain with their father in Australia, understanding and support from her surroundings are in short supply. Deborah Bruce improvises on the themes in A Doll’s House and delivers a hilarious comedy hard hitting against among other things the pietistic view of motherhood. She was a finalist in The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize 2012/13.
