Shakespeare’s RICHARD II, HENRY IV, HENRY V and RICHARD III are the basis for this mammoth work, which Tom Lanoye wrote together with the director, Luc Perceval. The language has been changed, the cast cut and the characters re-written. It’s a massive piece of theatrical poetry about power and survival, generation conflicts, gender struggle and self-effacement.
