One night a snowflake fell, first among many, then one by one, finally to end up all alone in the darkness of Svartediket – HELL’S WATER.
This is the story of the small Deinaren-family, about their violent experiences by the lake: Svartediktet, in the year 1813…
If you are between the ages of 9 and 99 with a strong heart and solid lachrymal canals, and if you know someone with a weak heart and worn lachrymal canals, then take them along, because this is going to be heaven and hell….and a dead hand to hold!
The musical: SVARTEDIKET – HELL’S WATER – writes history, since, as far as we know, it is the first black metal musical ever.
This musical is scary with a well-written story and with fantastic music which spans from the hardest and heaviest passages to the most beautiful ballads, which bring out tears – characteristic of Black Metal, when it is best.
The musical had its world premiere on home ground in Bergen in 2010; it received great reviews.
