This is the musical version of the hit movie SOME LIKE IT HOT starring Marilyn Monroe as Sugar. It all takes off when the two, still unknown, musicians Joe and Jerry witness a gang massacre in Chicago. Knowing they are in trouble, they disguise themselves as two women belonging to a female orchestra bound for Miami and thereby manage to escape the gangster boss Spats Palazzo. Subsequently, a succession of romantic complications occurs, as Joe and Jerry are taken for being women. Though their safety is of short duration only because unfortunately Spats Palazzo arrives in Miami with his gang and this time they are not fooled by their costumes. So a great chase sets in and eventually the gang is accounted for and true lovers reunite.
