In a home as busy as a railway station during peak hour, Irene and Harry and their three children, as well as the grandparents, live together. The action never stops: people call incessantly on the phone and at the door, and all the while there is a flow of white goods in and out of the flat. The play satirizes the busy modern life and reminds in its style of an American soap opera.
