How would life look, if it just went on and on? If death failed to rescue us from the vulnerability of eternity? To Uwe, Christiane and Dagmar there is no way out. They have been conceived The Great Egg Sac in the laboratory and have an eternal life. Perhaps this is the reason why they are so interested in Malthe who takes care of his bird spiders in his flat until the sound of the siren and the knocking on his door. Malthe is a ghost driver and one of the last humans. Uwe, Christiane and Dagmar have come to bring him to The Home. This is where the last humans are placed to spend the rest of their days together. Yet apart from Malthe and the nurse it seems to be empty at Home. The 107-year-old ghost driver is curious about the new people and slowly he comes to understand their lives that are affected by the fear of death, which The Great Egg Sac has failed to remove. The three clones often talk about the woman, Harmonia, a runaway ghost driver. Malthe listens carefully. Perhaps she is still alive somewhere in the forest?
