This is a gripping, hilarious and refreshingly original musical. It takes place in a remote manor house, where a group of people have been invited to enjoy a lovely weekend in the countryside. The host has, among others, invited his rather wild nephew, the family doctor, a sophisticated lady, a former colonel as well as a couple of young people of opposite sex. Naturally the butler and servants are also present when weird things start to happen: one after the other is killed in most unorthodox and refined ways… Though also present is Miss Tweed, an amateur private detective, who instantly begins to unravel the intriguing and murderous affairs that take place right under her nose. SONGS: A marvelous weekend, Something's afoot, Carry on, I don't know why I trust you, The man with the ginger moustache, Suspicious, The legal heir, You fell out of the sky, Dinghy, I owe it all, New day. ORCHESTRATION: Piano Conductor’s Score Reed I: Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto and Tenor saxophones Reed II: Flute Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto and Tenor Saxophones Trumpet Trombone Percussion I & II, Timpani, Xylophone and Drums Bass Guitar/Banjo
