The play’s genre is a mix of dream play and hyper realism. Its central problem is the subject of responsibility and guilt. It concerns the ones who fought during the war but also the others who did not have the guts to fight against the superiority. The author did not glorify the Danish efforts during the War but made it clear that there were only very few heroes and villains once the war was over.
