A telephone booth is an important cast member in this comedy! Every Friday evening David Lord's wife, Sarah, lends their flat to her unmarried friend, Valerie, so that the latter can entertain her married lover, Stuart. David does not know of this arrangement and Stuart believes that Valerie is married to David!
