In this play we are introduced to a courtesan, who has got slight troubles in the fictive Balkan country, where she lives, as revolutions and constant change of regimes make career attempts in that profession, somewhat adventurous. In the first act we see her in the grand suite of a hotel together with the emperor, during the second act she entertains the country’s new president and lastly she is nearly conquered by the communist dictator who takes over the leadership. The three different men are to be played by the same actor. It is a moderately indecent play packed with situation comedy and a quick-witted dialog.
