THE LITTLE COMEDY is based on the novel by Arthur Schnitzler. SUMMER SHARE is based on Pain de Menage by Jules Renard. This show is put together by two one-act musicals, each presenting a highly entertaining picture of people looking for romance. THE LITTLE COMEDY takes place in Vienna around the turn of the century and we follow two blasé inhabitants. Firstly the young woman accustomed to splendour and luxury, paid by her many lovers and lastly the generous gentleman. They are both weary of love and its endless repetitions, so therefore they dress up individually as a poor poet and a simple tailoress. And all just in order to seek the unspoiled excitement in romance. SUMMER SHARE is a contemporary story taking place in The Hamptons, Long Island where two couples rent a weekend cottage, in order to escape the hectic lifestyle in the city. Though before long the aspect of infidelity threatens their mutual relation.
