David Lindsay-Abaire is the creator of Broadway hits such as FUDDY MEERS, WONDER OF THE WORLD and KIMBERLY AKIMBO. He received the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for his latest drama RABBIT HOLE. The play premiered with great success at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2006, with Cynthia Nixon (”Sex and the City) in one of the central roles. Nicole Kidman is starring in a future film version of the play. It is a somewhat tragic story about a young family that has everything you could want until one day, where drastic changes occur. After a fatal accident in which their child is involved, the couple find themselves drifting further and further apart. The play maps their bittersweet search for optimism in the darkest places, and a road which will lead them back to the light.

“Rabbit Hole is a story of family, with beautifully developed relationships that allow us to recognize ourselves in the characters … mother, father, husband, wife, daughter, sister. Their rich and funny journey through grief is most of all a story of hope, reminding us of the power of the human spirit to heal and get back to the business of living. Don’t miss this award-winning play by one of the “hottest,” award-winning playwrights in the country.” / “A revelation…laced with wit… compassion and searing honesty.” –Variety / “A beautifully observed new play.” – New York Times.
