A trilogy about life in a country town in WA between 1920-1970, it tells the
saga of shopkeepers, farmers, local drunks, the Bank Manager, a mad lay
preacher, Aborigines and young lovers set against the changing fortunes of
Jarrabin - flood, fire, war, racism, the rising salt, and an Aboriginal death in
custody.
