This Finnish / Swedish version of Peter Pan is a bright story with dark ingredients. The musical addresses many important values, such as family significance, maternal love among others. Father is busy with his career, and neglects the children. But when they fly away, he regrets that he did not spend more time with them. The author is on the children's side. Peter will not grow up and go with the flow, he will be free. He is a serious guy who says "Children are so technical these days and every time a child does not have the sincere belief, then an elf dies." Peter Pan's mission is that we must take care of imagination and the world of fantasy. The catchy music by Sven Sid has his share of the credit for this version has been played by some theaters, also outside Finland.
