An aging man gradually loses his memory without forgetting how to take advantage of the devotion of his loved ones in the time that remains of his life. Zeller creates a realistic character universe based upon a daughter's parting with her father, where a generational conflict flares up in his superficial and neurotic relationship to her, his son in law and his carers. An elegant metaphysical play and a tragic comedy.
